Teenagers ran fentanyl ring out of suburban Portland home, federal agents allege

Federal agents investigating a suspected fentanyl distribution network in Portland were surprised when they tracked down the alleged local leaders: two teenagers working out of a Tualatin home.

Armed with a search warrant, Drug Enforcement Administration agents raided the home in mid-October 2024. The federal agents caught one teenager while the other fled. They also arrested two adult men at the home.

The search turned up what a federal prosecutor called a “staggering” amount of drugs: more than 40 pounds of fentanyl in pill and powder form…
