PORTLAND, Ore. (KATU) — The owner of Elephants Delicatessen in Northwest Portland, which was badly damaged by a fire earlier this week says the suspect in the blaze was known to staff.
Catherine Stough, 56, turned herself in to fire investigators near the scene on Tuesday.
She said she was looking for food and looking to stay warm with the restaurant’s patio heaters.
Portland Fire and Rescue said Stough was using a lighter to look for something in the trash…
