MULTNOMAH COUNTY, Ore. (KATU) — A mudslide has shut down a large section of Northwest Cornell Road near the Bird Alliance of Oregon.
Multnomah County Sheriff’s deputies, Portland police officers and firefighters, and crews with Portland General Electric were all called to the mudslide, located in the 5300 block of NW Cornell Road.
The extent of the mudslide is unknown, but officials say it has completely shut down NW Cornell Road in both directions for about two miles, from approximately the 4900 block of NW Cornell Road, near the Wildwood Trail turnaround/parking area, to Skyline Boulevard…
