Gladstone police have identified a suspect in a string of overnight car-tire slashings, the department said.
Police shared videos on Facebook Thursday morning, seeking help from the public to identify the person shown in them. By that afternoon, authorities said tips from community members had helped them identify the person in the videos.
Sgt. Eric Graves said Gladstone police have interviewed the suspect and referred the case to the Clackamas County District Attorney’s Office for review. The suspect potentially could face felony criminal-mischief charges, Graves said.
