Gunfire broke the quiet of a Northeast Portland block Friday afternoon, leaving one person injured and police searching for whoever pulled the trigger, authorities said.
The shooting happened near Northeast 140th Avenue and Eugene Court, where officers converged on the area and focused their attention on a house tied to the initial 911 call. Investigators said the people involved may know each other, but they were still sorting out exactly what led up to the violence.
According to KATU, Portland police were working at the scene and trying to determine whether anyone else was still inside the residence linked to the shooting. The outlet also published a photo from the scene credited to Jennifer Singh.
