A Clackamas County man died Saturday evening when the driver of an eastbound Nissan Frontier truck crossed into the westbound lane on U.S. 26 near milepost 31, striking a Honda Accord head-on.
Oregon State Police responded to the crash at 5:44 p.m. The Nissan, driven by Heath Eugene Beardmore, 35, of Rhododendron, crossed the centerline and hit the westbound Honda driven by Kailee Joy Peterson, 19, of Gresham.
Austin Rylee Buchholz, 24, of Corbett, a passenger in the Honda, was pronounced dead at the scene. Peterson and another passenger, Kemper Michael Buchholtz, 20, of Sandy, were taken to area hospitals with serious injuries. Beardmore also was hospitalized with serious injuries…
