The Portland Bureau of Transportation is currently assessing five road closures that started as early as this past Thursday, none bigger than a sinkhole that developed over days on Northwest Cornell Road.
“Water started flowing under the road,” Hannah Schafer with the Portland Bureau of Transportation said. “It’s a few car lengths that that water could potentially be undermining.”
