MULTNOMAH COUNTY – Authorities in Multnomah County are asking for the public’s help identifying a man whose partial remains were discovered last fall in a North Portland natural area.
According to the county’s medical examiner’s office, the remains were found Sept. 8, 2025, at Smith and Bybee Wetlands Natural Area. Investigators believe the man was African American and at least 50 years old, and that he may have been missing for several months before he was found.
