808 Grinds has quietly served its last plate lunch at the Cedar Hills cafe in Beaverton, closing the dining room at 10100 SW Park Way while promising it is not gone for good. Owners told followers the Beaverton exit is temporary and that the brand will return to the city with a new storefront later this spring. In the meantime, the Hawaiian plate-lunch chain is keeping the rice scoops coming at its remaining Portland-area locations and food cart.
