Motorcyclist dead after crash in Southeast Portland

PORTLAND, Ore. — A person riding a motorcycle died in a crash that closed all lanes of Southeast Powell Boulevard near 28th Avenue for several hours on Saturday.

The Portland Police Bureau confirmed that a crash between a car and motorcycle happened just after 2 p.m. at the intersection. The motorcyclist was transported by paramedics to a hospital, where they died. The driver of the involved car remained at the scene, PPB said.
