PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) – Faced with another budget deficit, the Evergreen Public School Board voted Tuesday on a resolution authorizing the superintendent to begin making the necessary cuts.
Board members are proposing more than $14 million in budget cuts to the district due to enrollment decline, inflation, and what the board calls “inadequate state funding.”
