BEAVERTON, Ore. — There are many paths into homelessness, and no two stories look the same. But many of them pass through the eviction process — as is the case for a 70-year-old man and his son, now living out of a van in Beaverton.
They never saw the eviction coming, they claim.
“It’s not easy, that’s for sure,” said Gary Stark, who is battling pneumonia. “My health isn’t that great anymore.”…
