VANCOUVER, Wash. (KATU) — A man died on Thursday night after he was hit by a driver along SR-500 in the Vancouver area, Washington State Patrol officials said.
The crash was reported shortly before 11 p.m. Thursday along the westbound lanes of the highway near the Vancouver Mall.
Initial reports state that a 36-year-old man tried to cross the westbound lanes when he was struck by a driver heading west in a Chevy Cruze. The man was pronounced dead, state troopers said…
