Daffodils and tulips are blooming, trees are leafing out and birds are filling the air with their songs. And if all that isn’t enough to make it obvious it’s springtime in Oregon, along comes Hortlandia, one of the largest plant sales in the state.
Sponsored by the Hardy Plant Society of Oregon, Hortlandia will be held at the Wingspan Event Center in Hillsboro on Friday and Saturday, April 3-4.
The gathering of growers from around the region features more than 40 nurseries, ranging from Dancing Oaks in Monmouth to Windcliff Farms in Indianola, Washington, and a wide variety of offerings as well, from hardy evergreen natives to carnivorous plants…
