Dead man found with gunshot wound at NE Portland convenience store

PORTLAND, Ore. (KATU) — Homicide detectives are investigating after officers found a man dead near a convenience store late Friday night.

Just before midnight on Friday, someone reported an unconscious person at the Plaid Pantry near the intersection of Northeast Columbia Boulevard and 60th Avenue.

In a statement released on Saturday, Portland Police said the officers who responded discovered the adult man was dead “with what appeared to be a gunshot wound.”…
