GOLD BEACH, Ore. – A Beaverton man was rescued after falling about 20 feet onto rocks near the ocean at Frankport, located about 13 miles north of Gold Beach.
23-year-old Nikhil Rowland called 911 at about 4:42 p.m. on March 31. Rowland said he had knocked out his front teeth, was having trouble breathing and was bleeding.
Rowland told dispatchers his car was parked near mile post 315 on Highway 101 and that he had traveled down a trail to reach his location. He warned that first responders would not be able to see him where he had fallen…
