CLARK COUNTY Wash. (KPTV) – The man accused of killing a Portland mother appeared in a Clark County courtroom for the first time on Thursday, two years after the alleged crime.
Dariel Nunez Montero, 32, wore an orange jumpsuit while joining the hearing remotely from jail. Deputies extradited him from Montgomery County, Ky., on Wednesday, where he was behind bars on unrelated charges.
Nunez Montero is accused of killing Courtney Clinton in the fall of 2024. On the morning of Nov. 1, Clinton’s body was found in the car, along with her 1-year-old son who was alive and unhurt. According to the medical examiner, Clinton died from cut wounds on her neck…
