PORTLAND, Ore. (KATU) — A Portland man was charged with several crimes after a bizarre incident last week in Southwest Portland, prosecutors allege.
According to court documents, police contacted Robert Louis Sorensen, 40, on Thursday, April 2, after reports that he was knocking on neighbors’ doors and saying he would burn down the building on Southwest 17th Avenue.
One neighbor, who is Black, told police Sorensen smeared feces on his door while yelling, “I’m going to burn the N-word down.”…
