PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — New details have emerged in the case of a Portland woman who was murdered in early 2024 and later found in the back of her own vehicle in Skamania County.
The woman’s fiancé, 36-year-old Jon Pharris Ray French, has been in custody since he was arrested and charged with second degree murder and second degree abuse of a corpse in February 2024, but a bail hearing set for Thursday could change that.

The Multnomah County District Attorney’s Office filed a memo with the court on April 20 opposing the possibility of bail for French and outlining the facts of the case.
According to the memo, Enyeart’s son reported her missing on Jan. 29, 2024, and stated they were suspicious of her boyfriend, French. When police arrived at her home in Northeast Portland, they found a U-Haul truck parked out front and Enyeart’s car was missing…
