DA Nathan Vasquez discusses the proposed Multnomah County budget

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — The proposed Multnomah County budget was released last week, with many places seeing cuts.

With about $3 million cut out of the Multnomah County District Attorney’s Office’s $55 million budget, DA Nathan Vasquez said his office is expected to lose 15 positions, including eight prosecutors.
