‘Incredible loss’: Washington County boutique entrepreneur dies in UTV crash

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A Washington County community is mourning the sudden loss of a beloved entrepreneur, who died in a tragic accident over the weekend.

In her obituary released Wednesday night, Darcy DeBord’s family and other business owners say she built more than a successful brand — she built connection.

All three White Birch Design Company stores are temporarily closed in honor of DeBord, the woman who started them.
