WASHINGTON COUNTY Ore. (KPTV) – Tualatin Valley Fire & Rescue crews rescued a baby goat from a quarry off Farmington Road on Saturday night.
Just after 9 p.m., crews with Tualatin Valley Fire & Rescue were called after the baby goat became trapped about 60 to 80 feet down.
TVF&R said they had to use a rope rescue system to reach it, and called for a technical rescue team from Tigard to come help them set up and use the climbing gear.
Firefighters rappelled down the quarry wall, and after gaining the goat’s trust, were able to safely bring it back up…
