Judge delayed sentencing for Portland drug dealer to see if she had really changed. Here’s what happened next

Last November, a judge offered to delay the sentencing of a woman who had pleaded guilty to dealing fentanyl from a house in an upscale Northwest Portland neighborhood.

Prosecutors recommended more than four years in prison for 45-year-old Bridget Hadley Ryan.

Three of her regular customers had died from overdoses, they said, though they couldn’t prove that the fentanyl Ryan sold them directly caused their deaths…
