A man allegedly tried to abduct two children in Providence, Rhode Island, on Tuesday morning.
Police tell NBC10 Boston affiliate WJAR that Dinis Pimentel was arrested following the incident downtown in which he allegedly approached a woman who was walking with her children, and attempted to pull one of them away, before striking the woman repeatedly and attempting to get both kids.
Several bystanders intervened to help, police added, according to WJAR. Pimentel allegedly bit one of the Good Samaritans before fleeing the area…
