Gov. Dan McKee has appointed Lynne Corry as interim director of the Rhode Island Department of Corrections.
Corry will be replacing outgoing director Wayne Salisbury, who announced plans to step down in April.
According to McKee’s office, Corry has worked at the Department of Corrections since 2002 and most recently served as Acting Assistant Director of Community Services as well as the warden of the maximum and high-security units. McKee’s office made the announcement on June 26…
