PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) — A recent study conducted by researchers at Brown University is suggesting a potential link between the shingles vaccine and a lower dementia risk.
Brown University assistant professor Kaley Hayes led the cohort study, which was published June 16 in the Annals of Internal Medicine, alongside colleagues from Brown’s School of Public Health, the University of Delaware and the Providence Veterans Affairs Medical Center.
