CRANSTON, R.I. (WPRI) — As backlash against Flock safety cameras grows nationwide, police in Cranston say one of theirs was vandalized.
Chief Michael Winquist told 12 News that on July 8, a man was seen climbing up a pole and cutting the wire on a camera in the area of Oaklawn Avenue.
It’s one of 29 in the city’s network of automated license plate-reading cameras.
