PAWTUCKET, R.I. (WPRI) — Rhode Island State Police have arrested three people in connection with a crash involving multiple vehicles and the subsequent fight that happened on I-95 South in Pawtucket on July 5.
The pile-up left one person with serious injuries after he was ejected from one of the vehicles, according to state police.
In a press release on the day of the crash, state police said there were “reports of numerous people fighting” on I-95 before troopers arrived at the scene. New video released by the Rhode Island Department of Transportation also shows people appearing to fight on both sides of the highway following the crash.
