PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) — Providence Public Schools are still reporting a few dozen teaching vacancies ahead of a school year that is set to begin in a matter of weeks.
The 2026-2027 school year will be the Providence Public School District’s first under city control since 2019.
