COVENTRY, R.I. (WJAR) — Coventry police said a Connecticut man was convicted in connection with a hit-and-run crash that injured an officer.
According to police, Ryland Roy struck an officer when the officer attempted to break up a group on the Coventry Bike Path near Lewis Farm Road in 2024. He then fled the scene of the crash.
