Multiple arrests made in Providence, Pawtucket

PROVIDENCE, RI — Rhode Island State Police made four arrests on various charges, according to Captain Mark McGehearty, District “A” Commander.

At 3:02 p.m., troopers arrested Damien Smith, 33, of Providence, for obstructing an officer in execution of duty and on a Providence Superior Court bench warrant for failure to appear for arraignment on the original charge of possession of a stolen motor vehicle, originating out of the Central Falls Police Department.
