PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) — The owner of Providence’s so-called “Superman” building just received a significant financial boost to jump-start renovations on the skyscraper.
The Rhode Island Commerce Corporation unanimously voted Monday evening to provide High Rock Development with another $9.5 million in taxpayer money to convert the Westminster Street high-rise into hundreds of apartments.
