EAST PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) — Several new school buildings are opening across Rhode Island and southeastern Massachusetts this school year. However, these aren’t just newer versions of the schools students have always known.
Six new schools have opened across Rhode Island this year, along with a new Diman Regional Vocational Technical High School in Fall River. It marks a major milestone in a wave of school construction projects across the area.
