LINCOLN, R.I. (WJAR) — Two men are facing charges after they allegedly each stole $1,000 worth of casino cheques from Bally’s Twin River Lincoln over the summer in unrelated incidents.
According to the Rhode Island State Police, on Aug. 17, Arturo Ramos of Sharon, Massachusetts noticed two $500 purple casino cheques left by a fellow patron. He was allegedly caught on security putting those cheques into his pocket while a dealer converted his cash into chips.
