NBC 10 I-Team: Central Falls officer to resign after using stun gun on handcuffed man

CENTRAL FALLS, R.I. (WJAR) — A Central Falls police officer will resign later this year as part of a settlement with the city after he was recorded using a stun gun on a handcuffed man.

In July, the mayor’s office told NBC 10 that Timothy Toczko would serve a 30-day suspension after the city dropped its attempt to fire him.

At the time, the city would not disclose the terms of the settlement it had reached with Toczko earlier that month…
