ATTLEBORO, Mass. (WJAR) — Attleboro police are searching for a man accused of robbing a South Attleboro donut shop while armed with a claw hammer.
Officers responded to a hold-up alarm at Vista Donuts, located at 1096 Washington St., at around 5:08 a.m. on Sunday, Sept. 6.
An employee told police that a man entered the business shortly after it opened and threatened to take what he wanted while carrying the hammer.
Police described the suspect as a thin white man, possibly in his late 20s or early 30s, standing approximately 5 feet, 10 inches tall. He was wearing a surgical mask and carrying a distinctly colored backpack.
