PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) — The movie theater at Providence Place is expected to undergo extensive renovations, featuring new seating, food, drinks and entertainment options.
Apple Cinemas announced the multimillion-dollar transformation in a press release Tuesday, saying it aims to elevate the traditional moviegoing experience for Rhode Islanders.
The project will bring luxury recliners and Apple Cinematic Experience (ACX) technology, including Dolby Atmos immersive audio and 4K projection, to every theater.
