PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WJAR) — Seven people, including one police officer, were hospitalized after a multi-vehicle crash involving a police cruiser at the corner of Thurbers Ave. and Prairie Ave. late Friday night.
According to Providence Police, the crash occurred as an officer was responding to a service call. The cruiser was struck by another car, leading to a chain reaction that drew two additional cars into the crash.
