PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) — Providence Police and Fire Department communications have returned to normal after a brief systems outage Sunday evening.
Providence Public Safety spokesperson Kristy dosReis told 12 News police dispatch was communicating with officers via phone and the fire department was using backup radio channels as crews worked to restore communications.
Emergency services to Providence residents were not impacted during the temporary outage, dosReis said…
