CRANSTON, R.I. (WJAR) — Heavy rain flooded the Oaklawn Avenue underpass in Cranston on Sunday, once again trapping vehicles beneath the bike path bridge and renewing calls for a long-term fix.
The low-lying roadway, located between Oaklawn Avenue and Wilbur Avenue, can fill with a foot or more of water during heavy rain.
