More arrests made in Cranston’s Alpine Estates ‘nuisance’ house

CRANSTON, R.I. (WPRI) – Two more people have been arrested in connection with a nuisance case in the affluent Alpine Estates neighborhood in Cranston.

Bryan Torres, 27, and Jean Hernandez, 31, were both charged with animal cruelty after Cranston detectives found a pitbull living in the garage at 141 Alpine Estates Dr. in squalid conditions.

Police evidence photos shows piles of dog feces and empty water and food bowls in the garage when investigators conducted a search warrant on the property.

Jose Escalante, 33, was charged Sunday with animal cruelty, as well as with possession with intent to deliver marijuana, and maintaining a narcotics nuisance. He pleaded not guilty and was released on bond…
