Ex-Fall River Mayor Jasiel Correia secures job, begins paying restitution

FALL RIVER, Mass. (WPRI) — Convicted former Fall River Mayor Jasiel Correia is out of federal prison and now works as a marketing manager for a local restaurant, 12 News has learned.

Correia, 34, was released back in July after serving more than half of his six-year sentence.

Though he served most of his sentence behind bars in New Hampshire and Kentucky, Correia was allowed to move back home and transition into a reentry program last year…
