CRANSTON, R.I. (WPRI) — Johnson & Wales University operates campuses in Providence and Cranston, but since 2023 it has only made voluntary payments to the capital city.
Steven Stycos, former Cranston City Council Finance Committee chair, is not too pleased with this and is calling on JWU to “pay its fair share” as a tax-exempt institution.
