PROVIDENCE, R.I. — Mezzo Lounge has been ordered to close for one month and permanently end its 18-and-older events following a fatal stabbing that police said stemmed from an altercation involving people who had been at the Providence venue.
The Providence Board of Licenses also ordered the lounge to admit only people 21 and older, prevent lines from forming outside and submit quarterly reports.
