Three State Police Flock cameras in East Greenwich are deactivated pending a State Police review, and the town says it is prepared to go to court if they return.
The East Greenwich Town Council took no action Monday night on Flock license-plate cameras after learning that the Rhode Island State Police had turned off the three cameras on state roads in town. The council had placed a possible lawsuit on its agenda, according to the East Greenwich Town Council’s published meeting recording. The council also extended the one-time sewer true-up deadline to June 30, 2027.
