PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WJAR) — Three years after a Providence man was killed in a New Year’s Eve hit-and-run, the driver accused of leaving the scene has taken a plea deal.
Ariel Acosta was sentenced Tuesday to 15 years in connection with the death of Edwin English. She will serve five years in prison, followed by 10 years suspended.
