More warm temperatures ahead of weekend cooldown

Our warming trend continues through the midweek. We had a nice, mild day today, but temperatures will get even warmer tomorrow, primarily in the mid 70s inland and low 70s by the coast.

After Thursday, we have one more day of warm, borderline hot temperatures in the upper 70s and potentially even some low 80s on Friday. However, these summer-like temperatures will not last into the weekend, with a sharp cooldown into the upper 60s by Saturday.

The reason why we will be experiencing a temperature drop after our warming trend is due to a cold front passing through our region Friday overnight into Saturday morning. This cold front will bring a round of light showers overnight, but they will be very brief…
