RI rolls out app to help quit smoking and vaping

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) — Rhode Islanders looking to cut back or quit using tobacco and nicotine products now have access to a new app designed to make the process easier.

The Rhode Island Department of Health announced Monday that the QuitLogix app is now available to everyone enrolled in QuitNowRI — a free service that supports those who want to stop smoking or vaping.

“This app puts resources for quitting tobacco and nicotine right at people’s fingertips,” Rhode Island Department of Health Director Jerry Larkin said. “If you smoke or vape, quitting may be one of the most important health decisions you ever make.”
