Neronha Says South County Hospital Deal, Linked to Private Equity Firm, May Fall Under His Office’s Review
Rhode Island Attorney General Peter Neronha said he has not seen the deal that South County Hospital is considering to finance the hospital, but believes that it could trigger a review by his office.
In an interview with GoLocal on Tuesday, Neronha said: “I have not seen the deal.”
“Well, if it falls within the Hospital Conversion Act, then we’re gonna take a deep dive into it.
