On Tuesday, the Providence School Board received a letter from 16 anonymous administrators in the Providence Public School District requesting the Providence School Committee investigate the culture of “fear, retaliation, intimidation and a hostile work environment” in the PPSD.
“Providence Public Schools takes any concerns raised by employees and members of the community seriously,” PPSD spokesperson Alex Torres-Perez wrote in an email to The Herald. “At the same time, allegations are not facts. We will not comment on confidential personnel matters or give credibility to unsubstantiated claims by speculating about them publicly.”
Torres-Perez added that the district “will continue to address legitimate concerns through the appropriate channels.”…
